Mount Olive, Dec. 6—Mount Olive got its first close up of the Ku Klux Klan tonight when more than 100 robed and hooded men, wearing the insignia of the Invisible Empire, marched up and down the streets of the business section of the city.
From whence they came and wither the marchers went, no one seemed to know. Three men on horseback, bearing a flaming cross, lead the procession and hundreds of people lined the streets to watch the strange spectacle.
Concluding their parade the robed and hooded figures simply melted away into the night.
