Low Rainfall in Mountains Leaves High Point Industries Short of Hydro-Electric Power, Sept. 23, 1923

Power Curtailed on Account of Short Rain

High Point, Sept. 22—High Point industries that are dependent upon hydro-electric power have been advised by Charles I. Burkholder, vice president of the Southern Power company, that a serious problem exists that the power supply will be curtailed on account of low average rainfall in the mountains.
