Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock for James T. Stone, age 72 years, well known Chatham county resident, who died shortly after midnight of the effects of paralysis which he had suffered for a week. The funeral was conducted at Bell’s church with Rev. William Hurst and Rev. C.A. Upchurch officiating. Interment was made in the family burial lot.
A son, a sister, a brother, and one half-brother, survive.
