Otto Scheins to Replace Prof. Morgan at Lenoir-Rhyne College, Sept. 8, 1924

Mr. Otto Scheins Will Go to Lenoir-Rhyne

The position in the Department of Education at Lenoir-Rhyne College made vacant by the resignation of Prof. Morgan to accept the presidency of Summerland College, has been fortunately filled by the election of Mr. Otto Alfred Scheins of Brooklyn, New York.

Mr. Scheins is a graduate of Concordia Collegiate Institute, a Lutheran school in Bronxville, New York, and also of Concordia Lutheran Theological seminary, St. Louis, Mo. Since his Educational Psychology and School Administration at Teachers’ College, Columbia University, from which institution he has recently received his master of arts degree, having completed more than the required work.

Mr. Scheins comes highly recommended by those whom he has studied, such as Evenden, Reisner, Pintner, Stein, and others. Dr. M.G.G. Scherer, prominent in the Lutheran church work, has met Mr. Scheins and speaks very favorably of his personality. President Peery is to be congratulated upon this addition to the strong faculty of Lenoir-Rhyne College.
