On Saturday afternoon at 5:30 o’clock at the Reformed parsonage in Mt. Pleasant, Carl C. Lipe of near Mt. Pleasant and Miss Ruth Penninger of Gold Hill, R.F.D. No. 2, were united in matrimony by the Rev. C.W. Warlick, pastor of the bride.
Mr. Lipe is a son of Mr. and Mrs. M.M. Lipe. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Penninger. Both of these young people are well known throughout their respective communities and have a host of friends who wish them every possible success and much happiness during their wedded life.
