Miss Ruth Augusta Kalbfleisch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Kalbfleisch of Valley street passed away early this morning at St. Peters Hospital, Charlotte, after an illness of two weeks. Pneumonia was the cause of her death.
Miss Kalbfleisch was bornin Evansville, Indiana, March 27, 1906.during the eight years of Miss Kalbfleisch’s residence in Concord she greatly endeared herself to a wide circle of friends by her gentleness and charm of manner, and the sympathy of the neighborhood goes out to the grief-stricken family.
The funeral will be held from the Second Presbyterian Church Wednesday afternoon at 3 o’clock. Miss Kalbfleisch was a member of this church and the services will be conducted by Rev. W.C. Wauchope of Whiteville, assisted by Dr. J.C. Rowan.
Interment will be made at Oakwood cemetery.
