Salisbury, March 17 (AP)—Mrs. Samuel W. Goode of Alanta, Ga., died here this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Eagan.
Mrs. Goode was a native of Georgia and a resident of Atlanta for more than 40 years. She was well known throughout a large portion of Georgia.
She had been in ill health for the past year and for several months had been living with her two daughters in North Carolina. She is survived by those daughters, Mrs. Harry Eagan of Salisbury and Mrs. Isaac Hardaman of Charlotte.
Funeral services will be held Thursday and the remains will be taken to Atlanta for interment in the family plot at Oakland Cemetery.
