Wiggins Mill News
Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Lamm entertained last Tuesday night in
honor of their son, Mr. “Tink” Lamm, and their grandson, Mr. Frank Lamm, who
have just returned form “Overseas.” Quite a number of friends called during the
evening to welcome the brave boys who so gallantly fought for liberty and made
for themselves a name which will never be forgotten.
Music was furnished by Misses Hattie Skinner and Blanche
Williamson and Mr. Claud Lamm while the young people danced. Among the
out-of-town relatives who gathered at the home to welcome the solders was Mr.
Paul Lamm of Rocky Mount.
