L. Kline & Co. Robbed. . . Thief Takes $648 in Money and Checks. . . Robbery Took Place Between 10 a.m. Sunday and Monday Morning. . . No Clue Yet

Taking $648 in money and checks and leaving a lot of stamps, Liberty Bonds and small change some time during Sunday or Sunday night and getting away without being caught is the unfortunate circumstance at L. Kline & co. Mr. Kline informs us he was at his store on Sunday morning about 10 o’clock and saw the money in the safe. On Monday morning the safe had been opened and the money was gone. No signs of entering the store were in evidence, and it is thought that the last person who used the safe before the robbery left it unlocked. Close watch is being kept, but as yet no clue has been found that will clear up the mystery.
