Greensboro, N.C., Jan. 3—Cotton mills of the Cone interest, employing 3,000 workers, today announced a wage reduction of 25 per cent. The company also announced a reduction of 25 per cent in the prices of merchandise handled in its stores to supply the employes. The cause of the reduction was assigned to lack of orders.
