Mr. Alphonso Hicks and Miss Matilda Benfield, both of Rocky Mount, were married at 2 o’clock this afternoon at the Presbyterian manse in Wilson, Rev. E.L. Flanagan performing the ceremony.
After a honeymoon trip, Mr. and Mrs. Hicks will be at home in Rocky Mount.
