Mr. John Wells was slightly hurt about 7:30 last night and two automobiles were demolished when an automobile driven by Mr. John Wells, accompanied by his wife, crashed into Sheriff Ben Howard’s automobile, which was parked in front of the Sheriff’s home on Broad Street. Both Mr. Wells’ car and the Sheriff’s automobile were wrecked. Mrs. Wells’ injuries consisted mainly of shock. There were no bones broken and no serious cuts. Mr. Wells was unhurt. The Sheriff’s car was unoccupied.
About two hours later chief of Police Warren found Mr. Wells seated in another automobile, hos own car, on Vance Street east of the railroad. The car, which was badly damaged, had been run in the ditch beside the street. Mr. Wells was unhurt.
