Salisbury, Oct. 19—Jesse Coates, the young man who was so seriously injured in an automobile wreck just south of the city Sunday night, died at a local hospital without regaining consciousness. Mrs. Freda Warrington of New Jersey, who was in the car with Coates and was also injured, is resting well and her injuries are not considered of a very serious nature.
The funeral of young coats will be held at Smith’s Grove in Davidson County this morning at 10 o’clock.
