Salisbury, April 1—The will of the late D.L. Arey has been filed for probate. It discloses the fact that Mr. Arey was the largest property owner in Rowan County. In fact it is stated that this will divides the largest estate ever handled in Rowan.
Ernest C. Arey and Craige Arey, sons, and BH. Isenhower, son-in-law, are named as executors of the estate and are designated as trustees for the widow, Mrs. Nannie L. Arey, who is the largest beneficiary under the will.
The entire estate is left to the widow and children of Mr. Arey. Estimates of the worth of the estate run from $650,000 to $300,000. It includes both developed and undeveloped property in Salisbury, Spencer and the county, also property in Danville, Va., and Baltimore.
