New Bern, April 15—Two candidates have entered the field to succeed S.M. Brinson, who died Thursday morning, in Congress. Larry I. Moore and Charles L. Abernethy, both of this city, have announced that they will make the race. Abernethy was Brinson’s opponent at the last election in this, the Third District.
