Goldsboro, N.C., Nov. 10—Forty persons who drank milk from a cow bitten by a mad dog will take the Pasteur treatment in Wayne County, it was announced today by Dr. A.J. Ellington, superintendent of health, who investigated the case.
Among them will be Dr. T.A. Monk, a veterinarian, who was called in to treat the cow when the animal appeared to be chocking, and suffered severe lacerations of the hand when he rammed his hand down the cow’s throat.
