The police were informed yesterday afternoon of another residence entered by burglars Wednesday night, this being the residence of Mr. D.A. Atwell, corner of Fulton and Kerr streets. The discovery that this home had been entered was not made until late in the day. Mr. Atwell discovered on arising that his clothes were missing and they were later found in the yard of his home, the pockets having been ransacked and a small amount of money secured.
There was a suspicion that the burglars might have used chloroform or some other anesthetic at the Atwell home, as Mr. and Mrs. Atwell did not awaken until late yesterday morning and they experienced a peculiar sick-like feeling for some time after arising.
