Winston-Salem, Nov. 18—Rev. B.A. Culp of the M.E. church here, today received a wire telling him of the accidental death of Alice, 5-year-old daughter of R.C. Kennedy, banker, of Bessemer City.
The little girl was fatally injured while playing with a heavy piece of terra cotta pipe.

In 1939 the Methodist Episcopal Church united with the Methodist Protestant Church and the Methodist Episcopal Church South to form the Methodist Church. In 1968, it merged with the Evangelical United Brethren Church to form the United Methodist Church.
