Asheville, N.C., Feb. 16—William Ledford, alleging that Major Brannon of Knoxville and C.D. Fowler of Candler filed the teeth of two horses so that the plaintiff could not determine their age and that the ages of the animals were misrepresented, brought the case before Magistrate Lyda here today. The defendants denied any knowledge of the alleged filing, and the action was dismissed, the plaintiff being taxed with the costs. He entered an appeal.
