Rockingham’s two representatives in the house parted company when a vote was called for on Milliken’s anti-Ku Klux bill. With amendments giving the bill a mouthful of teeth, the house last night passed the bill on second reading by 70 to 42.
The assembly hall was filled with Kluckers who were silent as the measure was approved.
