Funeral services over the remains of Mrs. Susan J. Cole were conducted Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock from the home of Mrs. D.C. Christian on Burch avenue, with Rev. Trela D. Collins of the Temple Baptist church of which the deceased was a member, officiating. Interment was in Maplewood cemetery.
Mrs. Cole died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Christian, Friday morning after an illness of several months’ duration. A large number of relatives and friends attended the funeral and followed the remains to their last resting place in Maplewood cemetery. The floral designs were many and beautiful, attesting to the Christian character and the beautiful life of the deceased with made all those who came in contact with her her friends.
