Funeral services over the remains of Mrs. J.W. McFarland, wife of J.W. McFarland, merchant of this city, who died Thursday night at 10:10 o’clock, were conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the home.
Mrs. McFarland died from a complication of diseases with which she had been suffering for the past four years. She was a well known and a beloved woman, of a high Christian character. For 30 years she had been a devoted and faithful member of the Methodist church. For the past three months her condition was such as to render her absolutely helpless.
