R.H. Williamson Visits After 34-Year Absence, May 1, 1924

Former Sampsonian Visits Friends Here

Mr. R.H. Williamson, a native of Sampson, left the county 34 years ago. For 28 years he has been connected with the 11th Ward Branch, Avenue D and 10th street, of the Corn Exchange Bank of New York City. After two more years of service with that institution Mr. Williamson can retire on a pension or continue his work there at his own volition. However, Mr. Williamson things that to get away from the rush and worry of New York life and settle down in his old home county of peace and plenty will extend his life 20 years. He has been spending several days in Clinton and Sampson among relatives and friends. He expected to return to New York Saturday.
