Bostic, R-1, Jan. 6—We are glad to note that Mr. Gurley of Golden Valley, who is suffering with pneumonia, is improving.

Miss Rhonda Greene spent one day last week as the guest of Miss Daisy Murry.

Mrs. Fletcher Hollifield spent Saturday and Sunday with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gurley.

Miss Mozelle Hastings attended services at Mt. Harmon church last Sunday.

The many friends of Mr. Walker Murry set a birthday for him last Friday. A large crowd was present with well-filled baskets. All enjoyed the day and went away wishing Mr. Murry many happy returns of the day.

Mrs. Frank Hutchins is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. Hoyle.

Miss Nora Belle Johnson spent last Sunday night as the guest of Miss Ethel Melton.

Little Miss Ada Withrow spent last Monday with her grandmother, Mrs. Duffey Freeman.
