Newest "Gold Rush" Is in Coral Gables, Miami, Fla., Says F.E. White, July 21, 1925

My Trip to Coral Gables, Miami, Fla.

By F.E. White

Boys, you have all heard of the mad rush to gold fields and oil fields for opportunities to make money. I never experienced either of the above and of course know only by reading hearsay about them. But I have been a Coral Gables and adjacent territory for the past three days and I know from observation and personal contact what is going on here. No one can express in words what is going on. It’s too big.

And what will appeal to you, as it has to me, is the fact that all transactions are open and above board. One set price to all on anything new. But after first sale and property is beyond control of the original owners with restrictions—the real fun and real knowledge of the investment begins. Some lots are not listed with anyone for re-sale, but some that have been bringing handsome returns.

It is no fake. The building activities backed by the interests of $30 to $50 millions justifies the statement. They ae doing things. They have the faith.

Anyone who has seen is convinced that this section of Florida is destined to continue to grow and develop until it will e the playground of the United States. No words can describe it. It is a land of pleasure, plenty and opportunity.
