Mr. Thurmond Chatham of Winston-Salem has purchased the Klondike farm located on state highway No. 26, three miles north of Elkin. The arm was purchased by Mr. Chatham with a view to converting it into a stock farm for raising pure-bred cattle, hogs, sheep and possibly horses.
Mr. Ruohs Pyron, who for many years was recognized as one of the most successful stock breeders of the south, with farms at Cartersville, Georgia, and who more recently has been associated in a similar capacity with Leonard Tufts at Pinehurst, is the manager of the farm.
