On last Sabbath morning our pastor, Dr. Hill, spoke to us from John 13th chapter and the 35th verse. He delivered a very interesting sermon. The collection was $13.46.
Mrs. Sallie Hood from Bethel church worshipped with us.
Mr. L.C. Norwood was out after having been indoors with a stiff leg.
Mrs. A.P. Craig was a guest at Mr. W.B. Norwood’s Thursday.
Mr. and Mrs. L.C. Norwood were guests at Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Fisher’s, and Mrs. James McCain was a guest at Mr. L.C. Norwood’s yesterday.
Miss Estaline Green is our delegate to the Sunday school convention August 6th.
The choir is continuing to give us the very best singing.
Miss Minnie J. Norwood is at Charlotte with her sick sister, Mrs. Morris.
Miss Leoma Fisher and Mrs. Mack Fisher are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Wilson at Monroe.
Mr. S.L. Massey’s son, David, underwent an operation and is up again.
Mr. Clyde Davis is at home with his mother, Mrs. Sallie Davis.
Mr. Moses Massey is very sick.
