The infant son of Mr. M.M. Bumgarner, Monroe McNeill, was born October 17, 1924, and died of infantile paralysis July 28, 1925. His mother, Dora McNeill Bumgarner, died Feb. 28 of pneumonia fever. His aunt, Miss Tennessee Bumgarner, took charge of this infant boy at his mother’s death and filled the mother’s place as well as it could be filled by another. While an unspeakable sadness fills our hearts at the loss of a loved one here, we believe that mother and babe are happy together on the eternal shore, waiting for the rest of us to join them when the toils of earth shall cease.
