There is a little girl in Concord who is crippled from a tubercular ankle. Miss Ford is watching over her and Dr. Miller of Gastonia hopes to cure her, as he has cured another little girl in our county who had the same trouble. The Tuberculosis Association would like to have some little girls in town who are well and happy give a toy to this lame child, as she has to keep very quiet for a long time with a plaster cast on her ankle. Full particulars may be had by calling telephone No. 236.
From page 2 of The Concord Daily Tribune, Saturday, Aug. 1, 1925. TB can spread from the lungs to bones.
