Louis Bunce Ward, 22, Died of Double Pneumonia, March 18, 1926

Louis Bunce Ward

The community was saddened Friday by the death of Louis Bunce Ward, so of Mr. and Mrs. W.P., Ward, at his home near Harrels Store.

Louis was sick six days with double pneumonia.

He was 22 years of age and had a bright and cheerful disposition. He was a very obedient and dutiful so, and always ready and willing to help his fellow man. Although he neve united with any church, he loved his Savior and lived a Christian life.

He is survived by his father and mother, three brothers and three sisters: Robert, Alfred, Preston, Mary Lou, Pearl and Malissa. All were present.

He was buried at the family cemetery Saturday afternoon at ??. the funeral service was conducted by Rev. Mr. Barnes of the Magnolia circuit. The weather was very unpleasant but his popularity was attested by the vast assemblage of relatives and friends were present to pay their last respects. The floral offerings were many and beautiful.
