Mr. Frank Spencer, formerly of the Bijou theatre in Greenville, S.C., arrived Sunday afternoon to become operator and assistant manager of the Gem theatre, succeeding Mr. Driscoll, who has decided to remain in Anderson, S.C., following the death of his father some days ago. Mr. Spencer comes to the Gem highly recommended as a theatrical man of about 15 years’ experience and is thoroughly familiar with the picture game from every angle.
