Mrs. Ida Hinton Sawyer, who died Wednesday morning following a long illness, was buried Thursday afternoon.
She was one of the best known citizens of Newland township and had lived in Pasquotank all her life. Beside her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Miss Emma Sawyer, and three sons, E. P. Sawyer, W. L. Sawyer, and J. M. Sawyer.
