Bud Hodge, Jack and Jess Odom in Knife Fight, Nov. 25, 1920
Fayetteville—”Bud” Hodge is in the Cumberland General hospital here terribly cut, and Jack and Jess Odom are in jail as a result of a cutting affray near the county home, about two miles south of this city. Hodge claims that he was stopped in the road by several young men. Knives were used by both sides.
It was stated at the hospital that Hodge’s left arm was practically severed, the bone being cut in two above the elbow and the arm hanging by the flesh and skin.
