By the Associated Press, New Bern, N.C., Nov. 27—Declining to accept a reduction of 10 per cent in their wages following the statement of their employes that they had to cut prices from 15 to 20 per cent in order to meet the drop in other commodities, 250 and 300 employes of the New Bern Iron Works and Supply Company, one of the largest concerns in this section of the state, failed to report for work this morning.
