Hundreds of Southern Women Try to Vote, Nov. 2, 1920
Atlanta, Nov. 2--Heavy voting in the South with hundreds of women participating for the first time, it is predicted by the election officials claiming the women vote will help the Democratic cause. Fair weather has prevailed in most localities. Democrats are confident they will make a clean sweep in all the southern states. Many Georgia women are expected to demand a vote despite the state law requiring registration six months before the election.
