The alumnae are still at work getting subscriptions through the “Quality Group,” which gives 50 per cent of subscription price to all magazines secured by the alumnae. This amount goes to the alumnae fund. Letters are being sent to all the alumnae.
The alumnae are making a drive to secure $15,000 for the improvement of the library. Five thousand dollars of this amount will be used for immediate needs, and the remaining $10,000 for future requirements.

Set of Scott’s Works Contributed to Library
Miss Rennie Spivey, active alumnae of Chowan, has recently notified the library that her contribution through the Library Club will be set of 12 of Scott’s novels. These books have already been ordered and will soon be in place in the library.
