Charlotte, July 11—It was stated tonight by members of the family of Col. A.W. Burch, business manager of the Charlotte Observer, that he was resting comfortably and expected to be at his office a short while tomorrow morning as usual.
Friends were alarmed today when he suffered a weak spell at the office, but his condition tonight was reported as good as it has been recently. His health has been very poor for several months, and for some weeks he was confined to his room.
