Chief Dorsey Is After Local Heirs. . . Chief of Police Asked to Locate Heirs to Edgar Winborn of Beaufort County; Left Small Estate

Chief S.B. Dorsey, of the local police department, has been asked to locate the heirs to a small estate left b y the late Edgar Winborn, aged white man of Beaufort County, who was found dead in his home on June 30th. The man had been dead about four days when is body was discovered.

In asking the local police department to assist in locating the legal heirs in the small estate, it was made known that Winborn had several relatives living in Wilson county during the Civil War, also one brother who was the chief of the Tarboro police department at that time. His name was Wood Winborn.

Th estate which is left to unknown heirs was heired to Edgar Winborn by C.W. and W.A. Winborn. Anyone desiring more information concerning the Winborn estate or to establish their relation to Edgar Winborn is asked to communicate with Chief S.B. Dorsey of the Wilson Police Department.
