There was nothing sensational or over exciting at the ball game Friday between teams of the Rotarians and Kiwanians, the later winning by a score of 6 to 2.
W.O. Jenkins pitched for the Kiwanis and Dr. T.S. Wilson functioned in like capacity for the Rotarians, with Luther Hodges, catcher, and Lawon Ivey for the Kiwanis.
This was the second game played this season. Preacher Gordon and J.M. McConnell proved up as the stars of the event.
