Mrs. Midgett, Mrs. Mann Arrive in New Freight-Passenger Vessel, July 17, 1925

Mrs. C.L. Midgett and Mrs. L.R. Mann of Manns Harbor were in the city this week on their way home from a visit to New York and other northern cities, coming in time to make the first trip on the new vessel of the Globe Fish Company, now on the Wanchese Line. The new vessel, named the O.T. Lloyd Jr., is 82- feet long, and is one of the largest combined freight and passenger vessels of the type in this section. The vessel has just been remodeled to take care of rapidly increasing business on this run.
