Little Miss Mildred Williams entertained a number of her friends at her home last Friday evening on occasion of her 14th birthday. A number of games were played, one being a flower game in wich Angilina Harris won the prize, a box of candy, and Mildred Hill the “booby” prize. At the close of the evening a salad course was served to Loree Cagle, Ruth and Elizabeth McLain, Dorothy Mitchell, Naomi Edwards, Mildred Hill, Cornelia Geer, Foye Ervin, Kitty Hovis, Catherine Dickerson, Francis Payseur, Gladys and Elma Sue Griffin, Winifred Yelton, Libbie Mennen, Angelina Harris, Anne Venable, Virginia and Paul Starnes, Guy Williams, Charles Justice, Charles Young, Joseph Fanning Harris, Robert Scruggs, Thomas Sanders, John Twitty, Edward Lovelace, Nat Hamrick. Many presents were received by the hostess.
