On Wednesday near the old road way and near the branch east of town an abandoned automobile was found. When the gas gave out, it was abandoned. It weas stolen about Tuesday from Dr. Freeman in Raleigh. C.F. Tew of Haw River identified the car by an ad he saw in a Raleigh paper.
