Mildred Stroud, little daughter of W.D. Stroud of No. 725 Hamilton Street, who was injured last Friday when struck by an automobile on North Main Street near the new hotel, has recovered sufficiently to be removed to her home from the High Point Hospital, where she was hurried for medical attention.
It was at first thought the little girl’s injuries would prove fatal, but it is reported at her home that she is able to sit up.
