Jefferson Lowe, well-known negro, who died about three weeks ago at his home near Oak Ridge, left an estate worth approximately $50,000, according to his will which was probated Saturday in the courthouse at Greensboro.
The real estate left by Lowe amounted to more than 400 acres, and he also left $8,000 in cash. The property goes to his relatives. Lowe is remembered in High Point.
