The body of Alton Kirk Jester, who was killed in action in France during the world war, was brought to High Point Tuesday morning on train No. 137. The body was taken to the undertaking establishment of J.W. Sechrest and Son and the funeral will probably be held with military honors next Sunday.
Young Jester was a son of Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Jester of Mechanicsville.
