News was received here today of the death last night of Mrs. Pleas Morefield at her home on Sandy Ridge Route 1. The deceased had been desperately ill for weeks and her death was not unexpected. Mrs. Morefield was an excellent Christian woman and will be greatly missed in her community. The funeral and interment was held at North View Baptist church, a large number of the friends and relatives of the deceased being in attendance.
