Raleigh, April 3—Meetings of the Law and Order League tonight and again Friday night are announced, and that mysterious organization which has come into the city campaign to oust Commissioner Mooneyhan of the Department of Public Safety and Commissioner Bray of the Department of Public Works, is as yet unlabeled. Ku Klux leaders are said to be directing this organization, but there is nothing else suggestive of Ku Klux influence. The league is making no fight against Mayor Eldridge, who has only one opponent, but the leaders are vehemently against any more tenure for Bray or Mooneyhan. These meetings will be held often from now to the election in May. The city primary settles nothing except as an elimination device. The two highest in the primary run off the election. The elections are without partisan division and the fight is factional.
