Watch Out for T.O. Moore, Passing Bad Checks, Oct. 1, 1923

Are Notified to Watch for Man

Reidsville merchants have been notified to be on the look out for T.O. Moore, who is reported to have played ball with the Dallas, Texas, club last season, and who is alleged to have given some worthless checks in Virginia, according to a letter received by T.P. Turner, secretary, Reidsville Merchants Association, from the Danville Merchants Association.

D.H. Penn, secretary, Danville Merchants Association, informed Secretary Turner that Moore had passed some bad checks in Davnille, signing the name of L.L. Meaver to the checks, he reported; and he requested that this association be notified in event Moore puts in his appearance here.

Moore is described as being about six feet tall, clean shaven, slightly rough face, wears a brown velour hat, a rain coat, label on inside of coat reading, “U.S. Reynster New York and Boston.”
