Rocky Mount, N.C., Aug. 22—The negroes of Rocky Mount are to have a playground, the city having purchased the grounds several weeks ago and turned it over to them. The negroes are to equip the grounds with the necessary paraphernalia. They held a “tag day” this week and collected more than $100 for this purpose.
