Michael Dodson, aged 18, died at Watts hospital Sunday morning at 11 o’clock. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. W.D. Dodson of Mebane, N.C. He came to the hospital several days ago to be treated for an abscess of the brain which finally was the cause of his death.
He is survived by two brother and two sisters, besides his mother and father. The two brothers are Floyd and Carl Dodson of Mebane and the sisters are Miss Maude Dodson of Mebane and Mrs. Clover Scoggins of Durham.
The funeral will be conducted from the home at Mebane at 4 o’clock on Monday afternoon. Rev. E.W. Thompson, pastor of Mebane Methodist church of which the deceased was a member, assisted by Rev. J.C. Canipe of Mebane Baptist church, will officiate at the funeral. Interment will be in the Oakwood cemetery at Mebane.
